Excellent watch but estrap doesn't work!

The watch from Frederique Constant is excellent. Immaculate automatic movement and clear minimalistic design. If the watch stops, you can wind it although it does have ~1.5 day reserve. One gripe which I do have is that the e-strap doesn't work since I received the watch. I charge it for 4 hours but still it is pretty dead. The strap is this watch's weakest point. I haven't registered a complaint as yet with either Christian or FC as I don't want to goto hassle of returning the watch. Otherwise with almost 50% from Christian this watch is a steal.
