First of all, I would like to mention a wonderful detail that is unfortunately missing from the description. Maurice Lacroix has equipped the watch strap with integrated quick-change spring bars. The pins on the spring bar make it easy to change the watch strap without any additional tools and in just a few seconds. You just have to press the pins inwards and then you can remove the strap from the watch. The decision between a leather and a stainless steel strap was not easy for me. I prefer the stainless steel strap in the office with a shirt, but I prefer leather in my free time. That's why I think these systems for quickly changing at home are fantastic. As for the watch itself, I am still convinced that I bought the right one. When I first saw the Aikon on the Internet, I wasn't sure whether it was the right one for my extremely narrow wrist (17.5 cm circumference). In reality, however, it looks smaller than 42 mm in my opinion. Compared to my Tissot (also 42 mm), I would estimate it to be smaller. The diameter of the dial is 32 mm, the height of the watch is 11 mm. It also weighs 174 grams with the full strap. The stainless steel strap itself has whole and half parts. Two half parts together are a bit longer than one whole. This means it can be adjusted extremely well to the wrist, even my narrow one. The strap is held together with pins and has no screwed strap elements. I really like the special dial. If you look at the watch in the light, you can see the "waffle pattern" beautifully. If you turn the watch out of the light, the color changes from a light blue to a royal to dark blue and the "waffle pattern" slowly disappears. I think these characteristics should be seen in real life. In the pictures on the internet, these color changes on the dial are hardly noticeable. The indices and hands have been coated with luminous material and thus glow at night. The minute track was printed on a smooth background and not on the "waffle pattern" and is therefore easier to read. The Aikon is a design revision of the Calypso from the 90s. Maurice Lacroix has adopted the "claws" on the dial and the strap lugs for the Aikon, among other things. There is also a similarity in the design. The design of the Aikon also looks extremely similar to the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. However, it is much cheaper. Personally, I like the Maurice Lacroix better and can definitely recommend it. Ordering on the website went smoothly. I received the watch at home just two days after ordering. The watch was delivered well packaged and padded.

The Fossil Grant Automatic is truly a masterpiece! With its complete insight into its mechanical soul, it impresses at first glance. Very good, high-quality workmanship of the movement, which is not necessarily to be expected from a "Made in Japan" movement. The gears are partly gold-colored, which is very nicely shown off with the high-gloss silver gears. Violet splashes of color from individual eyelets round off the overall picture. The balance of the movement is very clearly visible and an eye-catcher. The dial is very beautifully designed with Roman numerals. The hands have a coating that glows brightly at night. The black, grooved border where the numbers are located looks very elegant and does not compete with the rest of the watch. The crown fits well in the hand for setting the time, optimal size with a grooved surface. The size is also optimal for smaller wrists, but also impresses with larger wrists. Despite its size of 45 mm, the Choreograph looks very discreet on the wrist. The high-quality workmanship of the strap means it sits comfortably on the wrist. The strap has a clasp that opens with a pressure point on the side, which looks very elegant and is easy to use. The back of the watch impresses with its automatic principle. The power reserve is even longer than the stated 40 hours. The watch ran for almost 45 hours when it was resting, and this was accurate to the second. The service is unparalleled! From the beautiful gift packaging to the shortening of the strap, which was carried out to fit perfectly even though only a wrist circumference was given as information. The individual segments were included. Delivery was also prompt and smooth. Conclusion: Great service for an excellent watch in a price segment that is second to none. Always happy to order again!
