I have been wearing a Citizen on my wrist for over 25 years. My wife and I are real fans of this brand. For 15 years I sailed the world's oceans with my wife and our sailing ship. My "Citizen Promaster" has experienced storms, been washed over by Caribbean salt water and had to withstand large temperature fluctuations in the tropics. It has been used hard on board. The Citizen has never let me down, it has never been repaired and thanks to the Eco Drive it has never needed a new battery. Now we are landlubbers again and back in Schwarzenburg. My wife said that I deserved another new Citizen as a "Sunday watch". We studied the watch series from front to back and from back to front. We decided on the Citizen Elegant Chrono Eco-Drive. The price-performance ratio was right (we saw it on the Internet for almost twice the price). The watch looks very sporty but just as elegant. I actually decided on the black dial. But the black one said: delivery on request. I decided on AT2141-52L (blue). A customer's opinion was also crucial, which stated that the photo did not correspond to the facts. The dial is more anthracite than blue. I ordered on Thursday morning and the post delivered on Friday morning! The bracelet is perfectly shortened according to my specifications and the removed links are included! A big compliment to Christian Uhrenschmuck24.ch When I unpack the watch, I am delighted. The design is very elegant, but also sporty. The dial immediately captivated me. It looks anthracite blue and changes color depending on the angle and light. The readability is very good. (The photo on the website should be corrected) The chronograph, i.e. the stopwatch, is very easy to use. The ECO DRIVE is one of the big plus points of the Citizen. The large yet invisible solar panel as a dial is a successful and tried and tested solution. A small point that I find a shame. The clasp no longer has a safety catch, as is the case with my "Promaster", which provides security. I can recommend this watch at any time!
