How long is my warranty?
You will find details of the item's warranty on the relevant product page under additional information. We provide the official international manufacturer's warranty for branded watches and branded jewellery. This is at least 24 months. Individual brands or products sometimes have a significantly longer warranty. CHRISTIAN brand jewellery is guaranteed for 24 months.
What does the warranty cover?
A watch's warranty generally covers manufacturing and material defects, including the movement, hands, dial, crown and sometimes the case. However, it does not cover damage resulting from incorrect use, lack of care (see our maintenance tips), accidents or normal wear and tear (e.g. straps, batteries, etc.).

Are your watches original?
Yes, all the products we sell are original and 100% new. They are purchased directly from the respective manufacturer.
Is the watch water-resistant?

What is the difference between 9-carat, 14-carat and 18-carat gold?
18 carat gold contains 75% pure gold. It has a rich, warm yellow hue that radiates elegance. 14 carat gold contains 58.5% pure gold. Its yellow tone is slightly lighter and more subtle compared to 18 carat gold. For white gold, 14 carat is brighter and more reflective, while 18 carat has a softer and more understated lustre. In rose gold, 14 carat displays a more intense pink colour, whereas 18 carat offers a gentler and more delicate red tone. 9 carat gold contains 37.5% pure gold. Its colour is paler and more neutral than 14 or 18 carat gold, giving it a discreet and elegant appearance. In white gold, 9 carat offers a bright tone, although it is less brilliant than 14 carat. In rose gold, 9 carat has a softer and more muted shade, making it perfect for those who prefer subtle jewellery. Due to its lower gold content, 9 carat gold is more affordable and also more resistant to daily wear, thanks to its reinforced composition.
Does the jewellery come with a certificate of authenticity?
All CHRISTIAN diamond jewellery is sent with a certificate of authenticity indicating that our diamonds are either natural and extracted from conflict-free mines or that they have been grown in a laboratory. CHRISTIAN gold jewellery and silver jewellery do not come with a certificate. The responsibility label (CGZ stamp) on the piece of jewellery is sufficient to indicate that it was produced by CHRISTIAN AG. The gold quality is indicated by the symbol 750, 585 or 375. The silver quality is indicated by the symbol 925.
Are your diamonds and gemstones natural?
On our online store, we offer two types of diamonds, each carefully selected with the utmost attention. The Diamond Jewellery by CHRISTIAN collection consists exclusively of natural diamonds and gemstones. Each one is sourced from conflict-free origins and meets the highest international ethical and environmental standards. It’s the perfect choice for those who value the authenticity and rarity of nature. The Lab Grow Diamond by CHRISTIAN collection features lab-grown diamonds. These are real diamonds, identical to natural ones in terms of chemical, physical, and optical properties. How much does it cost to adapt a watch bracelet?

How much does a ring adjustment cost?
We recommend using a free ringsizer to determine the right size beforehand, which you can order directly on the product page of each ring. If the ring still does not fit, we will be happy to check whether an exchange or customisation is possible. Please visit one of our stores or contact our customer service department by email (info@uhrenschmuck24.ch). Adjustments are made at an additional charge.
Do you make engravings?
Yes, we do offer engraving. Engraving can be chosen during the order process for wedding rings and engraving bracelets. If you would like a watch or another item engraved, please contact us by email (info@uhrenschmuck24.ch) or via the contact form so that we can check your request.
Do you pack the order as a gift?
Yes, you can tick the "Gift wrapping" option for each item in the shopping card and your products will be wrapped free of charge. If you have a fixed date by which you would like to receive your order, please indicate this in the order comments at the last stage of the checkout process.

What are the payment options?

What happens if I cancel an order that has already been paid for?
If you cancel an order that has already been paid for, the amount paid will be refunded to your account or credit card.
Can the payment method be changed once the order has been received?
Unfortunately, we cannot change payment methods once an order has been confirmed.
How could I get tax refund?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to obtain a tax refund for online purchases. To claim a tax refund, you would need to place your order directly in one of our stores. Can I pay by instalments on your website?
You have the option to choose monthly payments with 0% interest for orders with a minimum value of CHF 100. You can choose to spread your payments over 3, 12, or 24 months. Please note that the 12-month plan is available for orders over CHF 500, and the 24-month plan is only available for orders over CHF 2'000.
I cannot select the invoice / 0% instalment payment option.
In the following cases, payment by invoice/ instalments is not possible:
- Your main place of residence is not in Switzerland or Liechtenstein
- The delivery address does not match the billing address. This may also be the case for a delivery to a Packstation or company address.
- There are still outstanding amounts from a previous order.
- Your shopping cart is below a value of CHF 100.-
- Your shopping cart exceeds a value of CHF 5’000 for new customers (or CHF 10’000 for existing customers, please note that outstanding instalments or invoices from previous orders must be deducted from this limit). If you would like to order products above this amount on invoice or in instalments, please contact our customer service.
- You are not yet of legal age.
- We are required to check the credit rating of our customers. This check is carried out by us via an external information database in Switzerland. It is possible that the address has only existed for a short time (new building) or that you have only recently moved. You can consult the information concerning you via any credit institution.
We reserve the right not to accept the payment method "invoice/payment by instalments" for specific orders and to refer you to our other payment methods (e.g. payment by credit card, PayPal or prepayment) instead. We ask for your understanding for this security measure.
Can I make several payments at the same time?
Yes, you can pay several instalments at the same time. It is important that the minimum amount is always paid.
Will I receive the invoice by e-mail or by post?
By default, invoices are sent by e-mail by our payment partner. It is also possible to receive the invoice in paper form for a fee of CHF 4.25. Further information can be found directly on the invoice.
How many days do I have to pay the invoice / instalment?
You have 20 days to pay the invoice/monthly instalments.

How do I order an item?

Is the item available?
You can see the availability of our items directly under the price when you are on the product page. This information is generally very accurate, but is subject to change on a daily basis.
Can I view the item in your store first?
You are welcome to place a non-binding order in our online shop and select "Pick up in store" as the shipping method so that you can view your item in advance. Please also indicate in the comments field that the item is for viewing so that our staff can prepare everything for your visit. As soon as your item is ready for viewing, you will be informed by e-mail.

Do you also ship abroad?
Unfortunately, for logistical reasons, we can only process orders within Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Will the order be sent by registered post?
Yes, your order will always be sent to you by registered post for security reasons. If you are unable to accept the parcel on delivery, the postman will leave you a collection notice so that you can collect your parcel from the relevant post office.
How long does delivery take?
For all our items, you will see a note below the price indicating the availability of the item. If your item is in stock, you will receive it within the next 1-2 working days. Otherwise, you will see the number of working days it will take to ship it to you.
What happens if I am not at home at the time of delivery
As we only send our parcels by registered post, the postman will only deliver the parcel if you sign for it. If you are not at home, the postman will leave a collection notice, which you can use to collect your parcel from your local post office..
Can I track my delivery?
All our parcels are sent by recorded delivery. When your parcel is handed over to the Swiss Post Office, you will receive an email from us with confirmation of shipment and your shipment number (tracking number). With your tracking number, you can follow your parcel online at any time up until delivery.

Do I have a right to exchange?

Do I have a right of return?
We sell high-quality items in our wide assortment, which also require specially insured and expensive shipping. Many jewellery items and watches are specially produced on demand and a return is associated with high costs. We want to ensure that our items are absolutely flawless, unused and unworn for every customer.
For all purchases at www.uhrenschmuck24.ch, CHRISTIAN AG grants a unique right of return totalling 14 days, as long as this is explicitly requested by you in the comment field in the last step of the order process. If the right of return is not explicitly requested in the comment field, you only have a 14-day right of exchange.
If you let us know via the comment field that you are considering a return, you give us the opportunity to check the order. If an item cannot be returned, for example because it has to be made especially for you, our customer service team will contact you.

Engraved rings and wedding rings cannot be exchanged or returned, but we will find a solution.
- Determine size in advance: It's best to order our free ring sizer before you buy to determine your exact size. It can be ordered directly on the product page of each ring.
