Magnificent Certina chronograph, fast delivery, its red and black nato bracelet is the most beautiful effect, the timepiece can also be fitted with a leather or crocodile strap which gives it a sporty chic look, its screwed back with a sapphire crystal ensures it water resistance to 100m, a magnificent versatile Swiss chronograph that adapts to almost any wrist. I was wary with the red and black nato but the result on the wrist is absolutely magnificent, the watch does not go unnoticed, with the possibility of mounting it on a leather strap to make it more classic. I recommend this wonderful watch.

The watch caught my eye because of the car brand and the V8 logo. I didn't really need another watch. When I read that the watch was solar-charged, I was really curious. Charging works really well. When I received the watch, I immediately put it on the window ledge for a few hours to charge it properly. Since then, the display has always shown full. My other watches are automatic, and I wouldn't have bought this model as a battery watch. But this way, I don't have to bother changing batteries. As a woman with a very slim wrist, I obviously had to pierce an extra hole, but I knew that in advance and it wasn't a problem. Since I only own men's watches, the size is also perfect for me.

Strengths: - meets the requirements (waterproof, solar, visually appealing) - very good price/performance ratio for Christian's price, original price would be too high - my wife really likes the white strap. It also has a very good clasp. Weaknesses: - display difficult to read on the blue dial - We also bought the other model T075.220.11.101.01 with a mother-of-pearl dial and steel strap in Zurich. The grey display on this model is much easier to read - the readability of the hands in low light could be improved Christian's services: - quick and competent answers to our questions - very good on-site service in Zurich (strap adjustment) We are very happy with the purchase of both watches.

The Alpina Startimer Pilot Nato is very good value for money, especially at the discount offered here. The aviator-style dial offers quick and easy readability, which you might not necessarily expect from the pictures: The hands are delicate and framed in black, but stand out clearly from the black dial due to their material (metal). The length of the hands is well thought out: The second hand, which hits the indices quite well, reaches exactly to the end of the short indices (e.g. minutes 1-4). The pointed minute hand reaches to the middle of these indices and stands out from the respective minute markings thanks to the black frame. Also worth mentioning is the typical Alpina triangle on the back of the second hand. It is red and complements the "Startimer" inscription on the dial, which is also red. These small color elements are used carefully and accentuate the appearance of the watch. The PVD-coated stainless steel case looks robust and high-quality and is matt brushed (the eyelets of the NATO strap are of a similar quality, by the way). The crown is signed with the typical Alpina triangle and the case back is also decorated in a way that is worth seeing. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is slightly curved, which harmoniously complements the retro look of this Alpina. Despite this not exactly modern look, the watch does not want to be something that it is not: With a water resistance of 100m, it is clear that functionality is not neglected, especially when you consider that pilot's watches (especially in the higher price segment) are often not waterproof for more than 50m. However, the previously mentioned legibility, which is provided by the 42mm case diameter, has remained true to the history of pilot's watches, especially because the dial is not restricted by a wider glass frame or a bezel. A somewhat more special feature of this watch is the rather atypical lug width of 21mm, which should somewhat limit the choice of strap. In principle, however, many different strap styles should suit the black pilot's watch, so that you can wear it for different occasions by changing the strap. All in all, the Alpina Startimer Pilot Nato is a highly recommended watch for anyone who appreciates pilot-style models and values robustness. The design has a clear retro influence, but still conveys a modern feel, which gives the model a certain timelessness.

Perfect watch, luxurious and sporty

The watch was a gift and our son was really happy with it. Finally a watch that looks like daddy's :-) It is beautifully made, not heavy and sits perfectly on the wrist. In my opinion, the watch exceeds its price range. The workmanship of the case and the hands is of exceptionally high quality. The color combination of the gold-plated, reddish shimmering case with the gray, partly dark brown-looking dial and the red accents at 12 o'clock and on the second hand is something I have never seen before and looks unique. The matching brown (suede?) leather strap is comfortable and also seems to be of high quality. The indices are cleanly crafted with clear edges and easy to read, also thanks to the excellent anti-reflective coating. With its 40mm diameter, the watch fits wonderfully on both large and average wrists. The 28000 BPH movement glides beautifully and seems to run very accurately, as I have not had to reset the watch since I bought it a week ago. The luminous material is probably the weak point of the watch. It goes out after a short time and could have done with a few more coats. Furthermore, the case back, which has a beautiful engraving, has sharp edges and occasionally scratches the wrist. Overall, I can only recommend the watch, as well as the retailer uhrenschmuck24. The watch arrived within 2 days by registered mail and there was no problem. This is already the fifth watch that I have purchased through uhrenschmuck24 and it probably won't be the last.
