When I received my new Citizen with Eco-Drive in the mail, I was a little surprised at the size and weight of 150g with a perfectly shortened metal strap. I really like analogue watches and was looking for an inexpensive watch with high accuracy without the hassle of changing batteries. That's how I came across the Eco-Drive from Citizen. The time is very easy to read even in complete darkness thanks to the large, beautifully curved, strong luminous hands and clear division of the dial. The watch has a crown protector on the case, but it is still very comfortable and easy to use without additional buttons. By pulling it out once, you can set either the day or the date by turning it forwards and backwards. Pulling the crown out again allows you to set the time. The watch's power reserve with a fully charged, integrated titanium lithium oxide cell is eight months. Any type of light on the dial recharges the cell. According to the manufacturer, the lithium cell still has 80% storage capacity after 20 years, depending on how it is worn. The accuracy is stated as +/- 15 seconds per month. I measured +5 seconds in the first month. I am very pleased with so much robust elegance with high precision and will certainly last for a long time thanks to the titanium lithium oxide cell.

I don't want to sing any more praises of Christian and the Roamer Tempomaster Chrono - that would just be boring. But despite all the perfection of the Tempomaster collection, I have one wish for Roamer: the all-black version with the reference / SKU 221837 44 45 20 should definitely be released as black in black! That means the case and strap should be black, as should the dial, hands and bezel, simply take these parts from the steel-colored black watch (SKU / reference 221837 41 55 20). And dear designers, while you're at it, release the brilliant Tempomaster Chrono in a beautiful burgundy or wine red (dial & bezel). Thanks to Roamer for this truly brilliant idea!

The EDOX Chronoffshore not only looks beautiful, it is also a true survivor: sapphire glass, ceramic bezel (rotating), helium valve for excess pressure when diving, rubber strap... What is particularly striking is the screw-down crown and the pushers. The threads run smoothly; no messing around, no force, no fiddling, just technically clean and flawless. This watch is simply top-quality, made of the highest quality and with the best materials. The case is made of titanium, by the way. And last but not least: 1000 m water resistant! Nobody needs that ;-), but it looks good! PS: I have already bought 2 EDOX watches and will do so again!
