After over six years of wear, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, I have to say this chain is worth every penny! It still shines like new, and despite being 4.0mm solid gold, it's very lightweight. Even malicious people who tried to rip it off at concerts, etc., didn't stand a chance! ;) I would recommend having the safety clasp reinforced by a jeweler after purchase, though. The only damage I've experienced while wearing it was bruising from the unsuccessful attempts of those thieves to pull on the chain!
