Perfect watch that lived up to my expectations both literally and figuratively. The best things need patience.

I thought long and hard before I decided to try the Bomberg brand. Some models have a design that takes some getting used to, and it is not always undeniably tasteful. The Metropolis Mexico City caught my eye with its very colorful design and that is exactly why I bought it as an eye-catching “party watch”. However, I am pleasantly surprised by the watch. It is certainly eye-catching but by no means as garish as in the pictures and I currently like wearing it in everyday life. Despite its size and weight, the watch is very comfortable to wear and it also fits smaller wrists. The quality of the watch is excellent, the attention to detail is evident, you get a lot of watch for your money. About the dial: The skull is worked out using different levels and the painting further underlines this 3D effect. The tapestry dial is also three-dimensional and the elements are of different sizes and painted. The watch glows brightly in the dark, all markers, the hands and the teeth of the skull are marked. The second hand is 2-coloured and has the Bomberg logo as a counterweight. The hour hand and minute hand are simple but they are cut out so that you can always see the skull's eyes. The hour markers are attached as another 3D element, and minute markers are printed on the inside of the bezel. The case is solid stainless steel, coated in black and polished a little more roughly. The back of the watch has a screwed glass bottom. Unfortunately, there is no serial number for the watch: you just have to believe it's one of 200 and that's enough. The sides are 3D. The central, screwed crown fits the design, but is a bit fiddly to use. The strap is soft and comfortable, but of course the rubber straps are a matter of taste. The Selitta 200 movement is no wonder, but it runs smoothly as expected and the power reserve of just under 40 hours is also acceptable. In conclusion: the overall design of the watch is very harmonious. The watch is eye-catching, Robert Geissen would certainly be a fan straight away. The overall consistency and the good wearing comfort mean that the watch is also easy to wear in everyday life. The watch is high quality and elaborately made thanks to the many 3D details, colors, screw-down crown and glass bottom. If you are looking for an eye-catching quality watch and are not afraid of the skull, you will get a lot of watch for relatively little money.

High-quality watch with an exceptional movement! The grey dial looks very classy, the buttons give it a nostalgic touch. The strap looks very solid. As the watch seemed too small on my wrist (20 cm), I had to send it back with a heavy heart. The return process went smoothly. Thank you very much for your great service.

A magnificent watch, an icy blue that changes appearance depending on the light, which despite its 42 mm is not too big, an original watch whose great beauty you only really realize when you look at it in reality and not on a screen and wear it. I really liked it on the screen, but since I received it it's love at first sight. I wear it all the time and it's a real treat for the eyes. Mido has accustomed us to watches thought out from A to Z, with a totally accomplished concept. Here they have done very well. I recommend it without the slightest hesitation. Believe me, you will not be disappointed. As for the Christian Uhren service and delivery, it is perfect as usual.
