Perfect watch for chic occasions. When the watch arrived a few weeks later (if you order from Union you should expect longer delivery times, unless CHRISTIAN has the watches in stock), I was absolutely thrilled when I held it in my hand for the first time. The historical design embodies the typical characteristics of Union Glashütte and is a wonderful addition to my collection of Swiss watches. The three-quarter plate, which allows a view of the hand-wound movement through the glass bottom, is a real eye-catcher with its blued screws and rubies. The watch is used especially for chic occasions. I also ordered a brown leather strap + clasp from Union, as brown also goes very well with the watch (bracelets cost a lot less than comparable straps from Swiss watch brands!!). An important note: when I looked at the pictures I initially thought that the calendar hand and the small hour hand in the totalizer were beige. This is not the case! The hands are copper-colored and reflect the sunlight beautifully, evoking the atmosphere of the old railways even more.
