Since a very friendly consultant on the phone said that thin plates are less susceptible to the chain breaking/tearing than thin, round chain links, I decided to go for it anyway and hope that it lasts a long time. It feels great on the wrist and since the strap, crown and case are made entirely of scratch-resistant ceramic (five times harder than steel, by the way), the watch is absolutely suitable for everyday use and you don't have to handle it with kid gloves. The uncomplicated ordering process and the prompt delivery by Christian Uhrenschmuck was the icing on the cake. I received my Ceramica quickly and promptly, including certificates for the diamonds. Thank you very much for that, I'll be happy to get back to you. But for now I'm enjoying my beautiful, white Ceramica, a wish that has finally come true :).

The leather strap with the folding clasp is of high quality and feels comfortable. The watch does not slip around the wrist without the strap having to be adjusted very tightly. I think the pulse measurement is a highlight, and it is also accurate (compared with a sports watch measurement). Reading the pulse values is a bit challenging for me, as I no longer have the best eyesight, but that is my problem and not the watch's.
