I was looking for a watch that I could easily wear while swimming in the lake, and I decided on this Casio because it's very cheap but still looks durable. I think it's great that the battery should last 10 years. I would buy it again (for swimming).

Very nice, well crafted bracelet, it is a joy
The watch was delivered very quickly. The watch itself is packaged in a black cardboard cube from Hamilton. In the cardboard cube there is a beautiful wooden box containing the watch, an instruction manual and the guarantee card. The packaging looks very high quality, but unfortunately the instruction manual is not. It is a generic instruction manual that covers all Hamilton models; the diagrams provided do not show the Hamilton Khaki Aviation Air but a chronograph. The crown positions state that the positions for setting the time and date are different depending on the model, and which model uses which position is not explained. Well, I don't need instructions for that. It's just a small downside, but it's a shame that they're cutting corners here. The watch itself was working when it arrived, but that's probably due to the movements during transport, as the time and date were completely off. It's a shame. It would be perfect if Uhrenschmuck24.ch had set the watch before shipping. But this is also just a small criticism. On the positive side, this forces you to set the watch, which means you can take a closer look at the watch. The watch itself arrived flawless. The leather strap looks much better than the picture on the website, it is more natural and darker. The case and the dial are also a little darker, which I personally like. Personally, I am a little bothered by the lettering on the back of the case. This blocks the view of the caliber a little, but the window on the back allows great insights into the inner workings of the watch. The most spectacular thing is to watch the balance wheel, which swings back and forth at a speed that is almost impossible to comprehend. The leather strap comes with a double pin buckle, which is designed as a Hamilton "H", a nice detail. The strap is comfortable to wear and easy to open and close. Only the divisions seem a little unsuccessful to me. I have the second smallest lugs and do not have particularly thin wrists (I would have described them as averagely thick). In my opinion, people with thin wrists will have problems putting the watch on tightly enough and may have to punch new lugs in the leather. After the watch arrived, I set it to the second on a radio-controlled clock. 4 days later, the deviation is 4 seconds, which is a pleasant surprise. I had expected a much larger deviation with a mechanical watch. The ticking of the watch is only audible if you hold your ear directly to the watch. I find the ticking pleasant, in contrast to some quartz watches, where I find the ticking aggressive. If you move the watch against your ear, you can hear the rotor winding the spring. This makes a rattling noise that doesn't sound very high quality. The time is very easy to read in light, thanks to the large numbers and the clear division of the individual minutes. Although the numbers and hands are painted with phosphorescent paint that glows in the dark, the watch is almost impossible to read without light, as the numbers and hands only glow very weakly and only for a very short time. This seems to be a general weak point of Hamilton, as I have often read similar criticisms for other models. Curiously, the second hand glows the brightest. Overall, I am very happy with the watch and can only recommend it.
