The elegant leather strap with a beautifully engraved, easily adjustable folding clasp and white decorative stitching in a crocodile look naturally contributes to the smooth feel-good effect. The first impression of this Certina is positively ambiguous: The DS Multi 8 conveys a classic, elegant and timeless design on a clearly legible, analogue dial. The contrast of the Lumina hands fits perfectly into the chosen composition of white and black in terms of colour in favour of readability. At second glance, the three pushers and the optimally large display indicate the multifunctionality of a lavishly equipped chronograph. The settings are easy and intuitive to operate. Unfortunately, there are no instructions in the supplied leather box. However, Certina offers a digital version on the website as a PDF for download. This is helpful for getting to know the digital range of functions for the first time. The Multi-8 flies in two time zones. The hands move quickly and precisely to the desired time in the respective time zone without any frills. My favorite parameters are shown on the display by pressing the top button, alternating between the digital date in day, month and seconds, the day of the week with the calendar week, or nothing at all, depending on the personalization of the settings. In addition, two alarm options, a lap counter for up to 20 saved (intermediate) times and a countdown timer and of course the simple stopwatch help me to cover my different everyday needs. Of course, the soft blue lighting of the display, the various acoustic settings and a vibration option round off the versatile DS Multi - 8 efficiently and stylishly. Christian Uhrenschmuck delivers quickly and reliably. When I ask for an instruction manual, the customer service responds promptly and friendly. I am still waiting for a response from Certina. Conclusion: The Multi - 8 is a classic-looking yet innovative men's watch from the traditional Certina company at a decent price for a wide range of requirements. It combines timelessness and value with technology and simplicity. I recommend this noble piece to the urban man with discreet and quiet demands, the young adventurer and globetrotter with style or the everyday wearer who enjoys tradition and functionality in equal measure.

If I had seen the watch in person, I would never buy it. It looks good in the photo, but it feels cheap on the wrist... The description of the watch says that the strap is made of rubber, but it is very cheaply made. Like bad, hard plastic. When you put it on, it even squeaks. It's like I bought a cupboard in Ikea. As I said, if I had seen the watch in person, I would never buy it. As far as I'm concerned, the watch is worth no more than 400 CHF.
