Very beautiful watch....beautiful

A watch that combines many advantages: I thought for a long time whether the Masterpiece Cinq Aiguilles, with the white dial in the picture on Christian's website and the very clearly blue Roman numerals, wouldn't look too "bright and blue/colorful". When I unpacked it, I first thought it was the wrong model: In reality, the dial appears much less "white" indoors and the numerals are not "bright blue", but rather the dial has a touch of beige and the numerals appear dark in contrast, not light blue. Outside in the sunlight, the whole thing changes and it actually looks as shown on the website... fascinating, I love it! Since I have strong wrists, I suspected that the strap might be too short, but I was able to adjust it easily with a few simple steps. With the Cinq Aiguilles models, it is important to note that they should be wound with 20 turns of the wheel when first used. After that, the automatic mechanism with power reserve ensures that you can leave the watch lying around for a day and it will still be running the day after. Setting the time, date and day is actually self-explanatory and very simple, but you can also follow it step by step on the website www.mauricelacroix.com under "User manual for watches with Cinq Aiguilles manufacture movement". Having already owned a one-hand watch, I now have one with five hands, which does not affect the clarity in any way. An ingenious, timeless and beautiful watch, which is also sustainable thanks to the automatic mechanism, with no annoying battery changes. I am already thinking about ordering the model with the green dial from Christian. The sales process and shipping were uncomplicated, and the watch arrived quickly and well-padded. Small side note: I have been asked about the watch three times in the last three weeks, but I get the most joy out of looking at it myself.
