A diver design from the mid-90s... it had to be. It had to have a black, rotating bezel and metal strap. I entered the search criteria in the search mask and within a few clicks I landed on the Victorinox Maverick model. The % sign had a very positive effect on the quick purchase or the purchase decision. The Victorinox, which you can get here for an incredible CHF 350.-, free delivery, is exactly what I was looking for. Heavy and high-quality diver. Metal strap with folding clasp and safety clasp with Victorinox logo. With its 43 mm diameter, the watch is very comfortable to wear and doesn't look clunky at all because it's not too high! The bezel clicks into place with 120 clicks! I'm absolutely happy with my purchase. What bothered me personally was the strap that was fitted, which was not integrated into the case. Victorinox has apparently made a change to the metal straps and replaced the metal strap with another one, which is still very comfortable to wear and doesn't look inferior in any way. I was just bothered by the straight lugs. Some people a) won't notice it at all or b) won't find it particularly annoying. Personally, I think that a metal strap should fit nicely against the case. But that's a matter of taste. So before you buy, take a look at the pictures in the shop, where the strap is adjusted to the case with end links. However, with the model 24144.1, the watch is delivered with a metal strap with straight lugs. This automatically creates an air gap between the strap and the case. If this doesn't bother you, just put the watch in your shopping cart. If not, perhaps clarify things beforehand. This is where the service-friendliness of Christian Uhren Schmuck comes into play. I reported my problem to customer service immediately after receiving the watch. I didn't like the watch 100% as I had received it! It seemed to me that something was missing. That's exactly how I described it in my email and tried to illustrate it with pictures. Less than 48 hours later, customer service contacted me by phone to discuss the problem and the next steps. I was promised that they had contacted the supplier and were now waiting for their response. Since I was in no hurry and could leave the watch in the box waiting, that was not an issue for me. A day later, I received a message that the supplier had recognized the problem/concern and was now promising to remedy the situation by supplying a different metal strap with case integration. And for free!!! What else can I say? A watch at a reasonable price, including very friendly customer service from Christian Uhren Schmuck and Victorinox! Such positive behavior is no longer a given these days and that is why I do not regret my purchase in any way and can only recommend uhrenschmuck24 and the Swiss brand Victorinox.
