I had already ordered the Mido Ocean Star Tribute with a rubber strap online and happened to try it on in a store. That's when I noticed that the rubber strap was WAY too short. At first, I thought it was a single production error and looked to see if it was the women's version. But there's no women's version, and there's no longer a strap. My wrist measures 19 cm or 7.45 inches, which is exactly average. The strap barely fit the second-to-last hole, and I couldn't even slide the tab over it. I called Mido to see if they knew the strap was defective. Mido told me they knew the strap was "compact." That's putting it very kindly, because the strap is essentially unusable. Although I liked Mido watches, I had no desire to wear a Mido watch after that. The registered package is being returned unopened!
