The successor to the Fortis Cosmonaut is simply amazing. The watch is very precise and beautifully crafted and the orange accents make it stand out from other aviator or space watches. The combination of black, white and orange fits perfectly and is reminiscent of the original. I was actually able to order the first edition, which is limited to just 100 pieces, and I don't regret it. The blue and matte standard versions are definitely identical in quality. Given the absence of a bezel and tachymeter scale, the dial is close to 42mm in diameter of the case. The hands are therefore long and we can discern the progress of the minute hand. The yellow of the large numbers is very well chosen and gives great visibility of the time with the white markers on the midnight blue background of the dial. The edges of the case are finely silvered, as is the part surrounding the dial. The bracelet with its blue color matches perfectly with this very successful Alpina model.
