I found the Seiko 5 via a watch blog as a cheap, robust "outdoor" automatic. I was enchanted by the design, which is something I'm usually very picky about when it comes to watches. I would say that the 5 Sports is a cross between the sobriety of a Swiss station clock and the coolness of Japanese understatement. I have a rather thin wrist, and many watches of this size are too bulky for me. However, the Seiko 5 looks very elegant, the case is simple and slim, which has the additional advantage that the minute scale on the large dial is very easy and precise to read. In general, it is always a pleasure to read the time. The timeless design is reduced, tidy and yet offers everything you could wish for quick and pleasant reading: the aforementioned scale with luminescent indices, large digits for the hours plus a ring with the hours from 1 p.m. to midnight. The second hand with the red tip is reminiscent of a cockpit instrument, a nice detail, especially as it "rotates" in quarter-second increments - which brings us back to the station clock... ;) The accuracy is +– 19 seconds, although I have not been able to detect any significant deviation so far (if precision is very important to you, I would recommend a newer 5-Sports model, which also offers a second marker that allows you to set the watch to the second). The running time is sufficient, even when you don't move much and you put the watch down at night. The weekday display can be set to English or German. A real Far Eastern classic that I will certainly enjoy for a very long time.

Overall impression: I am incredibly happy with this watch, as well as with the seller Christian Uhren Schmuck. I must mention that I am a critic who is hard to impress. At first, when you unpack the watch from the very nice manufacturer packaging and put it on your wrist, it feels heavy, which goes away after a while and is no longer noticeable; you even miss the lack of feeling of the watch. The watch is large, but it doesn't look ostentatious or clunky at all, but rather absolutely classic and stylish, for both business and private use. The price is reasonable and by no means excessive, you have to remember that it is a Swiss brand watch with an automatic movement. A quick word on the ordering process and delivery: nothing to complain about, fast delivery, safely packaged and delivered by post. Keep it up! When you hold the watch in your hand for the first time, you immediately feel a deep sense of satisfaction, combined with a mischievous smile on your face. It's difficult to say exactly what is so great about it, but you immediately enjoy the watch. Top quality workmanship and the way the luminescent material has been used is great. The date window also fits perfectly into the overall picture (it's easy to read - amazingly - despite the rather small size). And of course the watch is "smooth" and light on the wrist (although the strap could have had two loops to pull the strap through!). The only downside: the case back is not transparent and therefore prevents you from seeing the movement, which unfortunately isn't exactly one of the most accurate of its kind (not dramatic - but Oris can do better). Conclusion: Clear recommendation to buy.

This is already my third Fossil watch and I have never had anything to complain about. Thanks to the accessories (other straps, easy to replace) I can combine the watch in new ways at any time. The elegant dial, insight into the movement and the classic and elegant style completely convinced me and now I simply enjoy being able to wear the watch - great chronograph at an affordable price!

The Oris Big Crown ProPilot is amazing. Very easy to read even in the dark. It doesn't look as big on the wrist as you would expect at 45mm. Not ostentatious but very elegant. The extended warranty after registering with Oris is the icing on the cake. I certainly haven't done anything wrong with this watch and would buy it again at any time. The Fossil Q Founder is a great smartwatch. Not overloaded, has all the functions you need and a great variety of watch faces. The battery lasts for me at least 2 days. Thumbs up. It's worth every franc.
