The Certina DS Action Powermatic 80 Diver Sea Turtle Conservancy Special Edition is still for a good cause. Comfortable to wear watch, light but looks robust, sporty and elegant at the same time. Love the Powermatic 80 movement. In this price range there is nothing comparable with such a good movement. 80h power reserve is really a lot. Where should one begin with this watch... First of all, it should be mentioned that the photos on the internet do not do the wealth of detail and quality justice. The watch is made to a very high standard, which is also reflected in the weight. The details in the dial give the watch a very special look. Modern, simple but still classy. I deliberately chose the black version because I can combine it more easily with other accessories and clothes. In addition to the steel strap, you can also buy a leather strap and change it yourself very easily and without tools. This function makes the watch extremely flexible and can therefore be worn for almost all activities. I can only recommend this watch!

First of all... this watch is actually far too beautiful to wear ;-) For a Marc Marquez fan, this watch is an absolute must!!! I had barely ordered it and the goods were already delivered. Beautifully packaged in a small motorcycle helmet, the watch appears when you open the helmet. The rubber strap means it sits perfectly on the wrist and, thanks to its relatively small case, it doesn't look too bulky, so it's not as bulky as an automatic T-Race Edition. I won't give this watch away and it's worth every single cent!!!

The requirements were very simple. No. 1: No battery, so automatic movement or solar operation. No. 2: Reception of the signal from the time signal transmitter, which rules out the automatic movement option for No. 1 and reduces the choice to solar operation. The third and final requirement No. 3: Sapphire glass, because ultimately you want to use a watch for a long time and the robustness of this material helps immensely to keep the dial looking flawless over the years. These are not many requirements and each one is not uncommon, but all three together restrict the choice quite considerably. The fourth requirement, which I will not mention because it is so obvious, is that the watch must also be visually appealing. The Citizen meets all four requirements, the first three simply in fact and the subjective fourth due to the great design. I like the watch even better in person than on the screen. The radio signal is recognized reliably and, above all, quickly, there is no long wait for the watch to set itself and thanks to the gigantic power reserve, the battery did not need to be charged. The time zone can be changed quickly, so even frequent travelers will enjoy the watch. There is no separate display for a second time zone, which I personally think is completely superfluous. No, not just superfluous, I find it rather annoying. So here is another positive point that speaks for this timepiece. All time zones can be called up quickly, there is no second display that could interfere with readability. The readability is also great at night, thanks to the well-luminescent digits and hands. Where there is light, there is also shadow. So they say and that is also the case with this Citizen Promaster. The leather strap is quite stiff, which initially leads to the watch being in a somewhat unusual position and making it feel strange to wear. However, this goes away after a short period of wear and is only mentioned here for the sake of completeness. A small negative point is the screw crown, which has to be unscrewed and pulled out to the first notch to adjust the time zone. In purely visual terms, the crown itself is already a bit dominant, which is even more noticeable when you unscrew it. The somewhat clunky crown sits on a very delicate axis and the otherwise beyond-doubt quality makes a small mistake as it then feels wobbly and not very robust. However, this will only bother users who often change time zones. All in all, I am delighted with the watch and also have the feeling that I have bought a decent, long-lasting product for the (not exactly small) money I invested.

Even the date was already preset. If you are looking for a nice, sporty chronograph for a reasonable price, the Maurice Lacroix Pontos S is the right choice.
