First of all, I would like to mention a wonderful detail that is unfortunately missing from the description. Maurice Lacroix has equipped the watch strap with integrated quick-change spring bars. The pins on the spring bar make it easy to change the watch strap without any additional tools and in just a few seconds. You just have to press the pins inwards and then you can remove the strap from the watch. The decision between a leather and a stainless steel strap was not easy for me. I prefer the stainless steel strap in the office with a shirt, but I prefer leather in my free time. That's why I think these systems for quickly changing at home are fantastic. As for the watch itself, I am still convinced that I bought the right one. When I first saw the Aikon on the Internet, I wasn't sure whether it was the right one for my extremely narrow wrist (17.5 cm circumference). In reality, however, it looks smaller than 42 mm in my opinion. Compared to my Tissot (also 42 mm), I would estimate it to be smaller. The diameter of the dial is 32 mm, the height of the watch is 11 mm. It also weighs 174 grams with the full strap. The stainless steel strap itself has whole and half parts. Two half parts together are a bit longer than one whole. This means it can be adjusted extremely well to the wrist, even my narrow one. The strap is held together with pins and has no screwed strap elements. I really like the special dial. If you look at the watch in the light, you can see the "waffle pattern" beautifully. If you turn the watch out of the light, the color changes from a light blue to a royal to dark blue and the "waffle pattern" slowly disappears. I think these characteristics should be seen in real life. In the pictures on the internet, these color changes on the dial are hardly noticeable. The indices and hands have been coated with luminous material and thus glow at night. The minute track was printed on a smooth background and not on the "waffle pattern" and is therefore easier to read. The Aikon is a design revision of the Calypso from the 90s. Maurice Lacroix has adopted the "claws" on the dial and the strap lugs for the Aikon, among other things. There is also a similarity in the design. The design of the Aikon also looks extremely similar to the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. However, it is much cheaper. Personally, I like the Maurice Lacroix better and can definitely recommend it. The Maurice Lacroix Pontos Chronograph is a real masterpiece! With its elegant and sporty appearance, the chronograph is my perfect everyday companion. Its crown at 43 mm is rather larger than average - but with its subtle and elegant design, the chronograph does not look lavish on the wrist. Its black dial with rose gold hands gives the chronograph that certain something and stands out from the run-of-the-mill. The black, very high-quality alligator leather strap completes the perfect appearance. I have always had very good experiences with the folding clasps of Maurice Lacroix watches; they are robust, very high-quality and, above all, durable. I can only recommend this watch! A watch. A Swiss watch. From a traditional company. But what is that? Analogue and digital? Is that allowed? Is it nice? Is it necessary? Good questions! When the watch with its optimally sized stainless steel strap was extremely comfortable around my arm, any doubts were definitely gone, because with this watch Certina has managed to create a really good combination of "old" and "modern"! The dial is wonderfully tidy and perfectly legible thanks to the strong contrast between the sandblasted aluminium hands and indices and the black dial. The luminous material on the indices and hands enables very good legibility even in the dark. (A small detail should be mentioned here: It is NON-radioactive luminous material, which charges when exposed to light and loses brightness over time, this is completely normal. However, it glows quite brightly and for a long time). The LC display is simply the perfect size. It was chosen so that no indices had to be "cut". Certina has also been careful here and chosen the "white on black" principle, which means that the display is well integrated into the elegant dial, and almost disappears depending on the distance and viewing angle. If the basic readability is not guaranteed for whatever reason, you simply hold down the middle button briefly, which will illuminate the light thanks to a very powerful background lighting. The middle button is used to navigate through the menu. It is quite nice that you don't always have to press from A to B through the menu, but can also navigate backwards from B to A by double pressing. This is conceivable insofar as the menu contains a whole 10 points. These are quickly understood, by the way, otherwise the operating instructions will help (which should be consulted at least briefly...). For me, however, one small detail was very decisive for the purchase: the small vibration motor (which you have to find in normal watches!). It is simply practical to be able to set a silent alarm or timer and the watch will vibrate pulsatingly at the appropriate time. In my opinion, the motor could have had a bit more "oomph". But that probably wouldn't have been good for the battery... So, who do I recommend the watch to? Actually, pretty much everyone! I would describe this watch as "elegant", but I certainly wouldn't deny its sportiness! For athletes who rely on short-term measurements, an analogue chronograph might be more pleasant and a bit more intuitive to read. For all other interested parties, I can give an unreserved purchase recommendation! Whether you're a "young snob", "middle-aged man", "nerd with style", "gentleman" or "whoever". I recently ordered the Tag Heuer Connected 45, titanium module with black ceramic bezel, brown leather strap. I was able to enjoy the first generation shortly after it was launched. I sold the first generation after a short time because I was a bit disappointed. The new Modular 45mm has grown up, I use it with an iPhone and I am very happy with it. Android Wear has been improved and the range of functions has increased (together with IOS). You can now download apps directly from the watch via the Play Store. WiFi and Bluetooth are on board and the WiFi is so intelligent that it only turns on when the watch really needs WiFi, which saves battery power. The workmanship is, as usual, first class and sets the Connected apart from the competition! It looks very classy and sporty on a man's wrist and is very comfortable and "light" to wear despite its size and weight. The focus of criticism is always the battery, with the first generation the battery performance was rather modest, you were happy if you "survived" the day. Despite the unchanged capacity, the Modular seems to have made a big step forward here too. After a normal working day with one or two calls and a few messages, I come home with at least 40-50% charge, which makes me very happy. Running stopwatches or timers don't seem to have much of an impact on the battery either. For me, the biggest improvement is the selection of numerous variations of watch faces, from classic, understated, to classy and chic, to sporty, colorful and eye-catching, there's everything - and all in the usual high quality. Conclusion: For anyone who was disappointed with the first generation and is still undecided - go for it!!

If you like diving watches, the Oris Aquis Hammerhead is a great choice. The diameter of the steel case is at the upper limit for me at 45mm, but it fits perfectly. Another nice thing is that the watch is a good weight. With 50 bar pressure resistance, it is probably enough for ambitious divers. The black ceramic bezel gives the grey dial a great accent. People who are very sensitive to light won't want to leave the watch on the bedside table, as the indices and hands with Superluminova are very bright and easy to read even in complete darkness. The rubber strap is easy to adjust; the safety folding clasp is top-notch and holds (has a subtle vanilla smell). The Hammerhead engraving on the back is very well done, gives the watch its uniqueness, it supports an important project and of course the fact that it is limited to 2000 pieces worldwide makes the whole thing even more interesting. The crown is screwed on; the date numbers are set at the 1st position clockwise; the day of the week is also set at position 1 but counterclockwise. New on the Aquis, the glass is slightly curved (on both sides) and anti-reflective. Bilateral automatic winding with a red rotor and a power reserve of 38 hours. The box has a hammerhead plaque, a very nice detail. All in all, I can only recommend this watch. (It's also cool that you can easily pay for the watch in installments.)

This classic Swiss watch in terms of design is very well made and a real eye-catcher. People are perplexed when they see what this watch can do. The app can be easily connected to the iPhone without any explanation. The first impression of the data received, such as steps, sleep pattern, etc., is impressive. For me, the width of the watch is at its limit, but I can imagine that the technology is hardly capable of making it any thinner. All in all, this watch is very inexpensive here at the goldsmith's. I will order the next watch here again.

I am delighted! I personally like the Diesel Mega Chief Chronograph very much. I like the combination of the black and the grey details on the dial. The watch with its 51mm dial and its weight of 204g is very comfortable to wear. It is suitable for all kinds of occasions and can be combined well with any clothing. The quartz movement, protected by mineral glass, is equipped with many details, such as the typical "Only the brave" lettering from Diesel. Both the case and the stainless steel strap make a high-quality impression. With its water resistance of up to 10 bar, this watch from Diesel is also well suited for sporting activities. The delivery and service from Christian Schmuck is very good. I ordered the watch on Wednesday evening and it arrived on Friday morning. Since the watch did not fit me due to the size, I went to the branch in Zurich on Saturday and had the strap adjusted. Great watch! Great packaging! Amazing appearance. Great to wear. An eye-catcher that is unrivaled in this price range. The tire tread pattern bracelet and the lugs are beautifully designed and comfortable on the arm. The solid pin buckle is also nice to look at. All in all, if you like chronographs, you can only recommend this watch! I would definitely buy it again!!!
