The Seiko Monster Save the Ocean SRPG57K1 has a beautiful dial that is supposed to reflect the landscape in the Antarctic. A small but nice detail are the little penguin footprints on the dial. For me, the dial of this Seiko Monster is the highlight. The rotating bezel pleasantly surprised me. The bezel is very easy to grip and turn. The rotating bezel can also be centered with the triangle on the rotating bezel and the 12 o'clock index, which is actually not typical for Seiko. What I also like is that the date and day of the week have a magnifying glass. This makes the date easier to read. Negative points are the watch strap and the clasp. The quality could be better. The clasp is made of simple sheet metal. The watch strap is pinned. And unfortunately the pins are in 2 parts and therefore really difficult to put together. Another negative point was the crown. At the beginning the crown was cumbersome to turn. The crown now turns better.
