I'm glad that at least Fossil has understood this and has watches on the market that are a decent size. Anything smaller disappears completely on my wrist. Unfortunately, the strap is a bit short. It could really be 5-10 mm longer. And the design is as usual simple, robust and practical and therefore not as overloaded as with almost all other watches. However, from experience I will not wear it when showering or swimming. Despite the ATM indication. That doesn't go down well. The price for the watch is OK and it was delivered as quickly as possible. I looked for a new everyday watch for a long time and finally decided on this one. I already had a Fossil watch; it's not a luxury item, but you don't lose much if something happens. And Fossil has also greatly improved its customer service in recent times. They respond quickly and repair practically everything in the service center with a Swiss address.

Cool design, fits perfectly on a woman's wrist. I'm happy that I bought this great watch. The only downside is the instruction manual. It's written very small and not really clear.

The requirements were very simple. No. 1: No battery, so automatic movement or solar operation. No. 2: Reception of the signal from the time signal transmitter, which rules out the automatic movement option for No. 1 and reduces the choice to solar operation. The third and final requirement No. 3: Sapphire glass, because ultimately you want to use a watch for a long time and the robustness of this material helps immensely to keep the dial looking flawless over the years. These are not many requirements and each one is not uncommon, but all three together restrict the choice quite considerably. The fourth requirement, which I will not mention because it is so obvious, is that the watch must also be visually appealing. The Citizen meets all four requirements, the first three simply in fact and the subjective fourth due to the great design. So I ordered the watch - on account - which is not a given - and received it quickly. Thanks to the team at "uhrenschmuck24.ch" for that. AEG - Unpacking - No need to switch on - Works, and accurate to the second. Great, that's how I wanted it. No fiddling, no fumbling, no setting, instructions are superfluous for now. I like the watch even better in person than on the screen. The radio signal is recognized reliably and, above all, quickly, there is no long wait for the watch to set itself and thanks to the gigantic power reserve, the battery did not need to be charged. The time zone can be changed quickly, so even frequent travelers will enjoy the watch. There is no separate display for a second time zone, which I personally think is completely superfluous. No, not just superfluous, I find it rather annoying. So here is another positive point that speaks for this timepiece. All time zones can be called up quickly, there is no second display that could interfere with readability. The readability is also great at night, thanks to the well-luminescent digits and hands. Where there is light, there is also shadow. So they say and that is also the case with this Citizen Promaster. The leather strap is quite stiff, which initially leads to the watch being in a somewhat unusual position and making it feel strange to wear. However, this goes away after a short period of wear and is only mentioned here for the sake of completeness. A small negative point is the screw crown, which has to be unscrewed and pulled out to the first notch to adjust the time zone. In purely visual terms, the crown itself is already a bit dominant, which is even more noticeable when you unscrew it. The somewhat clunky crown sits on a very delicate axis and the otherwise beyond-doubt quality makes a small mistake as it then feels wobbly and not very robust. However, this will only bother users who often change time zones. All in all, I am delighted with the watch and also have the feeling that I have bought a decent, long-lasting product for the (not exactly small) money I invested.
